Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis TD Released on Steam, Bringing Back 2011 - Developers Introduce Classic Mode
The new installment of the franchise will allow players to use old versions of towers from the original game.
In late September, Ironhide Game Studio announced the release of Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis TD on PC via Steam. This is a new installment in the fantasy tower defense strategy franchise.
As before, players will have to set up various towers with special abilities and fend off waves of enemies. The developers have prepared over 40 different enemies, and players can expect “5 enemy races and 6 colossal boss battles of epic scale.”
The creators of Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis TD published an address to the community on Steam:
We poured immense effort into this installment, and the fact that it is connected to the history of the original Kingdom Rush fills the entire studio with nostalgia. Fifteen years ago, we sent the first wave on its way, not even imagining where it would lead. Genesis is our way of returning to where it all began.
To celebrate the anniversary, a special classic game mode has been prepared for Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis TD. Players will be offered to “complete the entire campaign with the classic set of Kingdom Rush towers, including their original upgrade paths.”
