Control Resonant gathered over 34,000 concurrent players on Steam, almost quadrupling the result of the first Control. Even before its release, the game was on the wishlists of over 2 million users.
The first Control reached a peak of 9100 players six years ago, while Control Resonant has already surpassed the 34,000 mark. The new game also significantly outpaced Quantum Break, which gathered a maximum of 2719 players on Steam.
The high interest was also indicated by the number of additions to wishlists: on September 22, even before its release, the game was added by over 2 million platform users. The game was ranked 8th on the list of most wished-for games.
Control Resonant is also in the top three of the Steam bestseller chart, second only to EA Sports FC 27. The game received 88% positive reviews on Steam after almost 2000 opinions. The PS5 version in the PlayStation Store has a rating of 9.6/10 based on almost 2000 reviews.
