The first Control reached a peak of 9100 players six years ago, while Control Resonant has already surpassed the 34,000 mark. The new game also significantly outpaced Quantum Break, which gathered a maximum of 2719 players on Steam.

The high interest was also indicated by the number of additions to wishlists: on September 22, even before its release, the game was added by over 2 million platform users. The game was ranked 8th on the list of most wished-for games.
