The Joy of Creation Officially Becomes Part of Five Nights at Freddy's

The Joy of Creation has officially become a Five Nights at Freddy's spin-off, with an updated version of the project to be released in 2027 with the support of Scott Cawthon.

The creator of the Five Nights at Freddy's series published a new trailer for The Joy of Creation on X, accompanied by the message: "Welcome to the basement: TJOC is coming in 2027!" For many years, the project existed as a fan game within the Fazbear Fanverse Initiative, expanding the FNaF universe with new stories.

The new version has been completely redeveloped on Unreal Engine 5 and will offer five levels combining free exploration with classic FNaF survival mechanics. The player will take on the role of the Creator, who must confront manifestations of their own mind.

The Joy of Creation is now officially listed as part of the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise on Steam. The project has also received official support from Scott Cawthon, and its release is scheduled for 2027.
