Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember Developers Showcase Aggressive Boss and New Skills

Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember received a new gameplay trailer featuring the boss Zuo Ci, showcasing new skills that allow counter-attacking after deflecting attacks and stunning enemies by slamming them into walls.

The alpha demo of Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember is available until September 30, 2026, and a new video from Tokyo Game Show 2026 is dedicated to the aggressive boss from Chinese mythology, Zuo Ci. His fangs reach 60–72 inches in length.

Insight Skills allow you to immediately counter-attack after a regular deflection. The boss can also be slammed into a wall and stunned, utilizing environmental features.

The game will feature Divine Beast Manifestation. Instead of simply summoning a divine beast to deal elemental damage, the hero gains an enhanced form and powerful attacks for a limited time. The developers were inspired by Nioh 3 when creating the world, and the movement system resembles Ninja Gaiden.

Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember will be released on March 4, 2027, on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.
