Robert Pattinson doubts that his version of Batman can be transferred from Matt Reeves' universe to the main DC cinematic universe. According to the actor, his Bruce Wayne is organic to the director's world and style:
“I think it would be pretty difficult for this version of Bruce to exist outside of Reeves’ world. It’s a very specific style – its mood permeates you.”
Matt Reeves' “The Batman” belongs to the DC Elseworlds line and exists separately from James Gunn and Peter Safran's main cinematic universe. Gunn previously confirmed that the studio leadership discussed the possibility of including Pattinson's Batman in the DCU, but there are no such plans now:
“I’ve said before that we discussed it. Nothing like that is happening now. Everything is constantly changing, so we’ll see what we do next.”
For the main DC universe, their own Batman is being prepared, who is expected to debut in the film “The Brave and the Bold”. Who will play this role is still unknown. The picture is under development and will be released no earlier than 2029.
