New Fable runs at 60 FPS on Xbox and the "platinum" can be achieved in one playthrough
You won't have to replay the game many times.
Recently, Playground Games studio offered visitors to play the new Fable during the Xbox FanFest event. The presented demo focused on the combat system.
Reviews have started to appear online, and according to incoming reports, Fable on the Xbox Series X console ran at a stable 60 frames per second in "performance" mode.
A user under the nickname PeterP_1985 was delighted with the Fable demo:
“Flawless 60 frames per second. Combat is truly engaging, switching between magic, ranged, and melee combat is smooth and intuitive, and the voice acting is top-notch. Bravo, Playground Games, you did an excellent job!”
It also became known that the developers of the new Fable have finalized the list of achievements. The achievements themselves have not yet been revealed — they want to keep it a surprise, but they clarified: players will be able to unlock all achievements within a single playthrough. It is also currently unknown how long it will take to collect 100% of the "achievements".
You can add Fable to your Steam wishlist via this link. The regular release is scheduled for February 23, 2027, but owners of the Premium Edition will receive digital bonuses and premium early access — they will be able to start playing five days earlier. The game will be available on PC, as well as on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 consoles.
