The re-release of 'Avengers: Endgame' brought the film an additional $86 million worldwide in its first weekend. In North America, the re-release earned $26 million, and in other markets — $60 million.
Thanks to this, the total gross of 'Endgame' increased to $2.88 billion, and the gap to the first-place 'Avatar' narrowed to $39 million. The re-release also helped the blockbuster become the second film in history to gross over $2 billion outside of North America.
In Russia, the extended version of the film was released under the title 'Avengers: Endgame Encore'. Screenings began on September 28, three days after the international premiere. Not all cinemas were ready to accept the film, so the availability of screenings depends on the region and specific chain.
