Warner Bros. Postpones Premiere of "Dynamic Duo" About Two Robins and Two Red Hoods

The studio hopes to attract fans of the animated trilogy about Miles Morales.

Deadline reported that Warner Bros. has postponed the premiere of the animated film “Dynamic Duo” from June 30 to September 22, 2028. Distribution representatives expect that the autumn release will help the film attract schoolchildren, students, and fans of the animated trilogy about Miles Morales.

“Dynamic Duo” will tell the story of the youth of Dick Grayson and Jason Todd, who at different times became Robins and Batman's partners, before Grayson took the name Nightwing and Todd became Red Hood. Dick Grayson will be voiced by Mason Thames, known for the live-action remake of “How to Train Your Dragon,” and Jason Todd by Logan Kim from the movie “Ghostbusters: Afterlife.”

Additionally, two more Red Hoods will appear in the animated film, voiced by Lee Pace and Steve Buscemi. Despite the similarity to Jason Todd's later alias, these are two completely different characters.

The director is Swaybox studio founder Arthur Mintz, and the script was written by Matthew Aldrich, one of the writers of “Coco.” Production is handled by Matt Reeves' company 6th & Idaho in conjunction with DC Studios.
