With the release of The Witcher 3 remaster, its online record on Steam has been updated

On September 29, the updated version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was released. The remaster not only became one of the highest-rated games of 2026 according to Metacritic, but also helped the original The Witcher 3 break its online record on Steam.

According to SteamDB, more than 105 thousand witchers are currently hunting monsters.

The previous record of 103 thousand players was set in 2020, when the first season of Netflix's The Witcher series, starring Henry Cavill, premiered.
