Cosplayer embodied the image of Lae'zel from Baldur's Gate 3 - a fierce warrior with a two-handed sword

Cosplayer XenyaMorph transformed into the warrior Lae'zel from the game Baldur's Gate 3 to fight illithids and other enemies, repel Queen Vlaakith, and determine the fate of the Githyanki.

The role-playing game Baldur's Gate 3 has captured the hearts of many gamers and introduced people to the fantasy world of the Forgotten Realms, where adventurers are met with unforgettable events and deadly dangers at every turn.

Photographer Elena Vesania and cosplayer XenyaMorph also visited the universe of this RPG from Larian Studios. During the photoshoot, the model appeared as the fierce Githyanki warrior Lae'zel.

Like the main character, Lae'zel is infected with a parasite larva at the very beginning of the story, which forces her to unite with representatives of other races, whom she initially regards with deep contempt. She has a lean but wiry and muscular physique, revealing her as a trained fighter.

Lae'zel's skin has a characteristic greenish-yellow hue and is covered with dark spots resembling a leopard's coat. Her facial features are sharp and predatory: she has pointed long ears, an upturned flat nose resembling a cat's, and piercing yellow-brown eyes.

Her long dark brown hair is usually styled in an intricate braided hairstyle to keep it out of her way in combat, and by default, she wears the massive forged armor of her people. Lae'zel's character can be described as tough, uncompromising, and extremely aggressive. She is not accustomed to wasting time on small talk, sentiment, or diplomacy, preferring to solve any problems with force and her two-handed sword.

In her interactions with others, she is often arrogant, rude, and harsh, sincerely considering the inhabitants of Faerûn to be 'inferior' beings. Despite her initial coldness, as the story progresses, Lae'zel's character reveals a new, profound side. If you earn her trust, behind the mask of a ruthless warrior, you can discover a loyal friend and a personality capable of deep feelings.

In the course of her personal story, she faces a severe crisis of faith and the betrayal of the ideal world she believed in since childhood. This forces her to re-evaluate her values, learn compassion, and make the difficult choice between blind loyalty to her tyrannical deity and the freedom of her people.
