The team behind "Daredevil: Born Again" is preparing to return to set two months after the completion of principal photography for the third season. According to the Daredevil Shots account, citing a published permit, additional filming will take place in Brooklyn on September 30, October 2, and October 3. Technical stand-ins are already being sought for these dates to set up lighting and adjust cameras.
Marvel has not disclosed which specific scenes it plans to reshoot. However, media outlets speculate that the return to set is related to the recent decision to conclude the series after the third season: the creators may need to turn the season finale into the series finale and remove any setup for a continuation.
If this assumption is correct, the decision to cancel "Daredevil: Born Again" was made relatively recently, after principal photography had already finished. A similar fate previously befell the second season of "Wonder Man," but it was canceled much earlier, during the script development stage.
The premiere of "Daredevil: Born Again" Season 3 is expected on Disney+ in spring 2027.
