A new 13.60 Relapse jailbreak for PS5 and PS5 Pro has emerged, allowing unofficial software to run on consoles with firmwares from 7.00 to 13.60 in a few seconds.

The new jailbreak method allows running modified software on PS5 and PS5 Pro with firmwares from 7.00 to 13.60. There's a catch – both consoles updated in the last week are not yet supported.

The development is being carried out by researchers and a community of enthusiasts studying console modification. User ManFightDragon reported on X that almost any PS5 version can now be exploited, and later confirmed the method works on PS5 Pro.

The new method is called 13.60 Relapse Jailbreak. According to MODDED WARFARE, it takes a few seconds to launch on consoles with firmwares from 7.00 to 13.60. However, the jailbreak itself does not automatically grant access to all features of the modified system.

The exploit allows interference with the console's software and running applications that Sony does not officially support. Although using unofficial software carries risks: possible system damage and PlayStation Network account blocking. Sony may also close the vulnerability with one of the subsequent updates.
