Shang Tsung from the classic fighting game Mortal Kombat will claim collectors' souls, as Iron Studios will release a new statue of this mighty sorcerer, serving the Outworld emperor Shao Kahn.

Iron Studios has opened pre-orders for the statue of Shang Tsung from the fighting game Mortal Kombat, which was released back in 1992. It can be purchased for $249.99 (21,012 rubles).

The 1/10 scale polystone statue is 26.5 cm tall, 18 cm wide, 17.7 cm deep, and weighs 1.45 kg. In the original Mortal Kombat, he was the main boss and antagonist of the tournament.

The character is a powerful but aging sorcerer who serves the Outworld emperor Shao Kahn and presides over the deadly contest on his personal island.

Shang Tsung appears as a frail old man with a long gray beard and hair. His oriental attire, adorned with exquisite embroidery and textures, comes to life through impeccable painting, and his calculating facial expression and hands, ready to channel dark magic, accurately convey the essence of this villain.

His decrepit appearance is deceptive, as within him lies colossal magical power that sustains his life. By nature, he is cunning, cruel, arrogant, and absolutely ruthless to those who stand in his way of conquering Earthrealm.

Shang Tsung's main ability is to steal the souls of defeated warriors, allowing him to prolong his life and maintain his youth. In combat, he can unleash fiery skulls at his enemies and possesses the unique gift of metamorphosis, allowing him to temporarily assume the form of any other fighter in the tournament and fully copy their moves.

According to Iron Studios' social media posts, the statue is expected to be released in the third quarter of 2027 (the official website states that shipping will take place in September–October 2026, but this is likely an error).
