Former Halo Studios Art Director Glenn Israel has made new accusations against the studio's management and Microsoft. According to the developer, while working at the company, he allegedly witnessed and documented in real-time the commission of a criminal offense in Washington state, in which, it is claimed, Halo Studios head Pierre Hintze was involved.
Israel claims that the incident was "facilitated" by studio art director Chris Matthews and executive producer Damon Conn, after which the incident was allegedly covered up by employees of Microsoft Global Employee Relations. However, the developer did not publicly disclose what specific crime he was referring to, nor did he publish the materials that, he says, confirm his statements.
In the publication, Israel also stated that this situation is allegedly not the only violation. He claims that Halo Studios management illegally compiled "blacklists" of job applicants, which could have deprived some people of employment opportunities. The developer separately noted that, in his opinion, given such practices, there is no reason to believe that content creators could not have been treated similarly.
However, the last part of the statement remains Israel's assumption — he does not claim to personally have evidence of a separate list for gaming bloggers.
