Plug In Digital is preparing a mobile version of Lil’ Guardsman — according to information in the App Store, the port will be released on November 10, 2026. The project will also be available on Google Play, where pre-registration is already open.
Players will take on the role of 12-year-old Lil, who is filling in for her father at the castle gate. The aspiring guard must interrogate over a hundred fully voiced characters — from humans and elves to goblins and cyclops — and decide who to let into the city.
Various tools, which can be upgraded with gold, will help her with this. For example, Lil has the Chronometer 3000 at her disposal, allowing her to rewind time and reconsider a decision. And she will have to choose carefully: the player's actions will affect relations between neighboring states, the outcome of a royal wedding, the subsequent siege, and the fates of the city's inhabitants.
Lil’ Guardsman was released on PC and consoles in January 2024. On Steam, it has 93% positive reviews based on almost 1200 reviews.
