Naughty Dog is working on a new installment of Uncharted, MP1st claims, citing sources familiar with the situation. According to them, this is a standalone new game, not a remake, and Nathan Drake will appear in it. However, whether he will be the main character or play a secondary role, the publication does not yet know.
The development is led by Shaun Escayg, game director of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, in which Chloe Frazer was the main character. After that, he worked as creative director for Marvel’s Avengers at Crystal Dynamics, and then returned to Naughty Dog.
According to MP1st, the new Uncharted will be released after Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. The studio's next project after that could be The Last of Us Part III.
