"Five Nights at Freddy's 3" to Begin Filming in 2027 - Matthew Lillard Promises "New Level"

Filming for the movie "Five Nights at Freddy's 3" is planned to begin in 2027. Matthew Lillard, who plays William Afton, revealed this in an interview with Bloody Disgusting. According to the actor, an early version of the script is already ready:

"I know they're going to a new level, so we'll be filming in 2027."

The third installment has a new screenwriter: Gary Dauberman, known for "It," "The Nun," and the film adaptation of the horror game Until Dawn, is working on it. Five Nights at Freddy's creator Scott Cawthon, who participated in writing the scripts for the previous films, remains with the project as a producer. It is expected that Emma Tammi, who directed the first two films, will once again take on the role of director.

The premiere date has not yet been announced. The return of other actors to their roles has also not been confirmed.
