Developers continue to gradually fix various issues.

A major update was recently released for Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era. The developers introduced many improvements, an alliance system, a refined map generator, and more.

Soon after, Unfrozen studio returned and released a small hotfix called “Lost Emotions, Lobby, and Stability.” The developers stated that they added four new reactions to the game, as well as a special indicator that will show when interaction with heroes or objects is unavailable.

In addition, fixes were made to improve game stability. A bug was also fixed where a tournament battle would not load if the first tournament date was set for the first day of the game: “As intended, the first day can no longer be selected when planning a tournament.”

Other hotfix changes and improvements:

  • Fixed a bug where launching the game from an online lobby could fail with a slow or unstable connection.
  • Fixed a bug where a player's turn would freeze if they interacted with the “Tomb of the Nameless Hero” or “Altar of Four Sages” at the moment an opponent entered their city or battle.
  • Added missing Hungarian localization.
  • Fixed the translation of the “Refresh” button in arena mode for several languages.
  • Fixed the “Knowledge” characteristic, which was mistakenly replaced with “Attack”.
  • Fixed the display of the “Number of Players” column in the template selection window in the lobby.
  • Fixed a bug where a tournament battle would not start if battles were scheduled one after another.
  • Fixed the display of the number of alliances in templates.
  • (Arena) Fixed overlapping tooltips for “Dimensional Snare” during arena draft.
  • (Combat) Fixed a bug where units under the effect of the “Decomposition” spell could not attack in melee.
