The Embark Studios team is preparing for the imminent launch of the Frozen Trail update for Arc Raiders. This will be the biggest update in the project's history — it will include various improvements, a new map called Pendola Pass, enemies, and other content.
The developers of Arc Raiders have published several new screenshots on social media — you can see fragments of a snowy location, as well as one of the enemies (this model is called Bully) and the remains of a huge robot:
Prepare to ascend the mountain and take your first steps on the snowy Pendola Pass — the Frozen Trail update will be released next week! The snow holds many dangers… Stay warm. Don't stop.
In addition to Bully, this update will introduce two more robot models — Hydra and Skulker; the developers previously published concepts for these enemies:
The release of the Frozen Trail update for Arc Raiders is scheduled for October 8, 2026, on PC and consoles. On the same day, Embark Studios will make the game temporarily free on all platforms. This month, they also plan to test the game's PvE mode.
