The first teaser for the second season of the anime "Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf" has been released. Holo and Lawrence will continue their journey north, to the wise wolf's homeland. Along the way, they will stop in the city of Lenos, where legends of Holo are preserved, and meet the mysterious merchant Eva Bolan. She will offer Lawrence a risky deal involving fur trade — a previously released poster hinted that the heroes would face betrayal.
Studio Passione is working on the sequel. Nobuyoshi Nagayama and Takahiro Majima are the directors, while Takeo Takahashi and Hijiri Sanpei, who directed the first season, will supervise the production. Kevin Penkin is once again composing the music.
The premiere of the sequel will take place in 2027; the exact date has not yet been announced.
