The anime anthology from CloverWorks studio will combine three standalone stories.

Aniplex USA has released a new trailer for GROTESQQQUE — an anime anthology from CloverWorks studio, curated by Atsushi Nishigori, director of "Darling in the Franxx" and chief animation director of "Evangelion: 3.0+1.01".

The film consists of three standalone stories with different worlds and heroines. In ÆLIENS, alien Eli arrives on Earth as a goodwill ambassador and tries to befriend humans, who are still afraid of aliens.

In Yoroshiku★Girl, gyaru girls battle for the title of Queen in a neon city of eternal night. This segment was directed by Takahiro Miura, director of "Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works".

The third story, NOCTURN, tells of a pure-blood vampire and three girls she infected, traveling in a van through a post-apocalyptic world after the demise of humanity. This, like ÆLIENS, was directed by Nishigori himself.
