Players can test an early version of the ambitious project.

Recently, developer Eastern-Willow214 announced the release of an early build of their Terraria modification, which "brings the game into three dimensions".

Eastern-Willow214 decided to publish their project "Terraria Unbound" on tModLoader now so that everyone can try it out and share feedback:

Explore a fully three-dimensional infinite Terraria world, with a world height of 2304 blocks. Resource gathering, building, exploration, and combat — all mechanics have been adapted for 3D.

In the current version of the "Terraria Unbound" modification, multiplayer is available, but for now, it also has an "experimental" status, as no large-scale testing has been conducted.

The developer warned that players might encounter errors during gameplay:

This is NOT a finished mod. Expect bugs, compatibility issues, unfinished content, and possibly very questionable physics. I am releasing it primarily to gather feedback, discover bugs, and understand how the game will work for others.

The "Terraria Unbound" modification is distributed through the "Steam Workshop" — to install it, you need to "subscribe" (it's free). The developer noted that they plan to implement support for popular Terraria mods in the future: Thorium, as well as Calamity.
