The psychological horror game BrokenLore: ASCEND will be released on January 7 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
BrokenLore: ASCEND is set in Japan. Players will join Ren and Yui, two famous rooftop explorers, who decide to undertake a forbidden night climb of the mysterious Elysium Tower, the tallest building in the country.
Initially, the heroes perceive the climb as just another extreme stunt for their SKYLIMIT channel, but gradually the situation turns into a real nightmare. Ren and Yui encounter the supernatural entity Rokurokubi — a creature from Japanese folklore that embodies their greatest fear: being forgotten and losing popularity. The higher the heroes climb the tower, the more the surrounding reality begins to distort.
