Bad news for PS5 owners. It seems Phantom Blade Zero physical edition will not be released

Phantom Blade Zero may not have a physical edition on PS5. Play-Asia informed a customer that the boxed version of the game will not be released.

Phantom Blade Zero is considered one of the most anticipated games of the year among PlayStation fans – the PS5 release is scheduled for late October. So far, only the digital version can be pre-ordered, although recently there was hope for a disc release: Play-Asia added a physical edition for PS5 to its catalog.

Now the store has removed the item from sale. In response to a question from one of the players, a Play-Asia representative replied:

The store apologized and noted that it understands players' interest in the boxed version.

There is no official confirmation from S-GAME or PlayStation yet, so it is too early to draw final conclusions. If Play-Asia's information is confirmed, Phantom Blade Zero will only be available digitally on PS5 at launch. It is possible that a physical edition will appear later.
