According to The Cosmic Circus, the new 'Ghost Rider' with Ryan Gosling has received the working title Drive-Thru. This is what drive-through service is called in the US, where a driver picks up an order without leaving their car. The title itself reveals nothing about the plot, but fans immediately recalled Nicolas Winding Refn's 'Drive', in which Gosling played the unnamed Driver.
The ending of 'Drive' has been a subject of debate for many years. According to the director's intention, the Driver survives, but some viewers consider his last ride a symbolic scene after death. The debates even spawned the meme 'He didn't die at the end of 'Drive'', and now fans have a new reason for jokes: supposedly, the Driver did die and was reborn as Ghost Rider.
The new film is directed by Shawn Levy, who helmed 'Deadpool & Wolverine'. The screenplay is written by Jonathan Tropper, who previously worked with Levy on 'The Adam Project' and 'Star Wars: Starfighter', which also stars Gosling. The premiere of 'Ghost Rider' is scheduled for July 28, 2028.
