Better Late Than Never: Riot Games Decides to Add Sett to 2XKO After All
Fans have been asking for this almost since the fighting game's release.
Riot Games has released the latest gameplay trailer for the fighting game 2XKO, unexpectedly introducing Sett — one of the most requested characters among fans. He will be added to the game along with Samira as part of the last major update, which will be released on October 27.
In the new video, the developers demonstrated the combat abilities of Samira, previously confirmed as the 16th playable character, but the main surprise was Sett from League of Legends.
Sett specializes in powerful strikes and grapples. One of the features of his move set in 2XKO will be an empowered state that changes the properties of some special attacks, making them even more dangerous. In addition, one of his super moves allows the character to grab both opponents at once and forcefully smash them into each other — a reference to his abilities in the original MOBA.
Fans met the trailer with mixed feelings: joy at the appearance of the long-awaited fighter is juxtaposed with sadness over the imminent end of game support. One of the most popular comments under the YouTube video compared the situation to Spider-Man visiting a terminally ill child in the hospital.
