Marrying Her Own Killer: New "Firefly Wedding" Trailer Introduces the Main Character

The new drama from the creators of "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure" premieres today, October 9.

The creators of the anime "Firefly Wedding" have released a character trailer dedicated to the main character, Satoko Kirigaya. The young heiress is voiced by Lynn, known to Genshin Impact players for her role as Columbina in the Japanese version of the game.

Satoko was born into a noble family and dreams of a successful marriage to earn the recognition of her loved ones. However, the girl is seriously ill and does not have long to live. The situation gets even worse when a hitman, Shinpei Goto, comes for her. In a desperate attempt to save herself, Satoko offers to marry him, but she doesn't suspect that Shinpei will take her words seriously.

"Firefly Wedding" is based on the manga by Oreko Tachibana. The adaptation is being handled by david production studio, known for "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure," with Takahiro Kamei in the director's chair. Yuko Kakihara is writing the script, Yukiko Aikei is in charge of character design, and NOGRID is composing the music.

The anime's premiere in Japan is today, October 9. Crunchyroll is responsible for the international broadcast.
