Oh, so you're from England: SEGA needed an American for a new game, but agreed to work with Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 star Charlie Cox

run.codeActor Charlie Cox, known for his role as Daredevil in Marvel projects, confirmed that he is working on an unannounced game from SEGA.
Cox did not disclose details of the project, but told an amusing story related to the start of work. According to him, when he first came to the recording, the team members unexpectedly discovered that the actor was from England, although they expected to hear an American accent.
I came to the first meeting, and everyone saw me for the first time. They offered me to voice this game, and I agreed. Then I had to record 40 hours of material or so. On the first day, I came and greeted everyone: “Hi, guys! Nice to meet you! How are you?” And then everyone reacted something like: “Oh… so he’s English.” They hoped I would be American. And now I had to record 40 hours of lines not prepared for an American accent.
Before this, Cox participated in the work on Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, where he played the role of Gustave — one of the central characters through whom the player gets acquainted with the events of the first chapters.
