Euro Truck Simulator 2 Players Won't Want to Leave Their Garages - 1.62 Update Teasers Released
The developers have prepared new models.
The creators of the long-haul truck driver simulator Euro Truck Simulator 2 have started teasing update 1.62. In version 1.58, they already updated garages in their other project — American Truck Simulator —, and now they are preparing to release a similar update for ETS 2.
With the release of update 1.62, new garage models will be introduced across the entire base map of Euro Truck Simulator 2, as well as in DLCs:
Garages play an important role in a truck driver's life. They are not only a place where you manage drivers and store your trucks — garages also reflect how your company grows. We wanted both small and large garages to be places that are pleasant to return to as your business develops.
When adding new garages, the authors of Euro Truck Simulator 2 paid attention to performance:
Adding new garages to the game without exceeding the load created by the old models, which appeared many years ago, was not easy. We hope we have managed to find the right balance between improved graphics and performance.
The developers of Euro Truck Simulator 2 have not yet specified a concrete release date or window for update 1.62. Currently, SCS Software continues to work on the rework of Great Britain.
