"After this, they will receive a lot of letters": Rockstar sent a GTA VI gift to a buyer after a polite request - he was criticized by other players
Some think the gift recipient shouldn't have shared it online.
Recently, a player under the nickname aogustoo said that he bought the Ultimate Edition of Grand Theft Auto VI with his first salary. After that, he wrote a letter to Rockstar Games and, according to him, they replied.
aogustoo wanted to receive an official GTA VI poster as a gift:
I just bought GTA VI Ultimate Edition with my first salary! And I'm just happy right now. I'm a huge fan and wanted to ask: is there any way you could send me a signed GTA VI poster so I can hang it on my bedroom wall? It would mean a lot to me!
Judging by the screenshot of the correspondence, a Rockstar Games representative confirmed that the poster could be sent, but without a signature:
We will gladly send you a poster as soon as they are produced. I cannot sign it because I am not the author of the game.
Then aogustoo posted his photo with the poster:
Not all players appreciated aogustoo's publication. The most popular comment by BijoBar reads: "After this, they will receive a lot of letters."
prince_0611 "doesn't understand" why people share such information, as publicity "ruins everything good".
Dikke_Domkop_8771: "Now all employees will be bombarded with spam. This employee was so kind as to send you a poster, and you did this to him - they will never do it again."
Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for release on November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles.
