Previously, IRIS OUT had already reached fifth place on the Billboard Global 200, setting a record among songs in Japanese.

The main musical theme of Denji and Reze's story from the anime "Chainsaw Man. The Movie: Reze Arc" — Kenshi Yonezu's song IRIS OUT — has been submitted for consideration for the 2027 Grammy Awards. According to the list of submissions published by Forbes, the composition was entered in two categories: "Best Asian Pop Performance" and "Best Song Written for Visual Media."

Now it's up to the members of the Recording Academy: submitting an application does not yet guarantee a nomination. The first round of voting takes place from October 12 to 22, and the list of nominees will be announced on November 16. The ceremony itself will be held on February 7, 2027, in Los Angeles.

Even if it doesn't get nominated, IRIS OUT can already boast at least one international success — the song took fifth place on the Billboard Global 200 chart on October 4, 2025, setting a record among compositions in Japanese.
