Hogwarts Legacy 2 Prioritized: Warner Bros. Rushes Sequel

Warner Bros. confirmed that Hogwarts Legacy 2 is in active development and will become one of the company's key gaming franchises.

In an address to shareholders, the publisher announced that the gaming division, formed after the merger of Warner Bros. Games and Paramount Games Studio, will focus on the most profitable franchises. Among them is the series based on the Harry Potter universe.

Development of the sequel began shortly after the commercial success of the first installment. There have also long been rumors of a connection between the new game and the upcoming HBO series.

Plot details are still kept under wraps. According to unofficial data, the action may move closer to the events of the books about the young wizard, or the developers will completely redesign the famous Hogwarts Castle.

Management expects the gaming division to contribute more to the media group's profit in the coming years. Hogwarts Legacy 2 is named one of the main sources of future revenue, along with other successful company projects.
