Unexpected Survival Success Permafrost: Online Exceeded 8000 People

Permafrost survival from a small Polish studio SpaceRocket Games attracted over 8200 concurrent players on Steam.

The project Permafrost from the Polish indie studio SpaceRocket Games, created on the Unreal Engine, is set in a frozen world of the future. The authors demonstrate a large-scale universe and a multi-layered plot, which they expand beyond the game. The publisher is also known for Medieval Dynasty and Sengoku Dynasty. The game's online peak reached 8216 people.

The player, as engineer Grach, travels through a frozen world of the near future, where eternal winter has set in after the destruction of the Moon. He is searching for a lost friend who sent a radio signal. The main enemy here is the cold: storms, frostbite, and freezing temperatures, and preparation, shelters, and timing help to survive. It is necessary to explore an open world with city ruins and faction territories, hunt, gather resources, craft items, build a network of shelters, and repair abandoned equipment. Grach is accompanied by a loyal dog that scouts the way, warns of danger, and carries supplies. You can play alone or in co-op with up to four people.
