The mobile version of the Vampire Survivors card spin-off costs almost three times more than on Steam.

Poncle studio has released Vampire Crawlers on iOS and Android. The Vampire Survivors spin-off brings familiar heroes, monsters, and weapons into a turn-based card roguelike with first-person dungeon exploration.

In battles, players will have to play card combinations, preferably in ascending order of their cost, to enhance attack effects. Special cards allow extending chains and unleashing avalanches of damage on opponents. Between battles, players can explore dungeons, find treasures, and collect gems to upgrade cards. After each run, the player returns to the village, where they purchase permanent upgrades and prepare for the next expedition.

However, the cost of the mobile version raised questions among players. In the Russian App Store, Vampire Crawlers costs 899 rubles, while the regular price on Steam is 385 rubles, and with the current discount, it's only 308 rubles. Thus, on smartphones, the game costs more than twice as much as the regular PC version and almost three times as much as the discounted option.

The price difference is particularly notable given that the PC version can be run on Android via emulators like Winlator or GameHub with the ability to synchronize progress with Steam. At the same time, Vampire Crawlers is not demanding on hardware, so there should be no problems running it on most modern smartphones.
