Capcom has released new gameplay footage of the Resident Evil 3 remake for Nintendo Switch 2. The game will be released on the console on October 16, along with remakes of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 4.
The published video shows Jill Valentine trying to escape from Nemesis in the streets of a ruined Raccoon City. The heroine makes her way past broken storefronts and destroyed buildings, trying to avoid the monster pursuing her. The recording allows us to evaluate how the remake looks and performs on Nintendo's portable console.
The original Resident Evil 3 remake was released in 2020 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. In 2022, the game also reached the first Nintendo Switch, but only in a cloud version, which required a stable internet connection. The Switch 2 version will run directly on the console, so a constant network connection will not be needed to play.
