Modern Warfare 4 will continue a trend that has annoyed Call of Duty fans on PlayStation for years - the game will not have a platinum trophy

All because of Activision's decision to cram the game into Call of Duty HQ.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will continue an unpleasant tradition for trophy hunters: the game will not receive a platinum trophy.

Modern Warfare 4 will be available within Call of Duty HQ, rather than as a standalone application. Because of this, the game is treated by the PlayStation system as additional content, not a standalone release. As a result, users will be able to earn several trophies for completing the campaign and other in-game activities, but the shooter will not have a full achievement list with a platinum trophy.
