The release of the fourth book in "The Horus Heresy: Saga" series is approaching: in the novel "Eisenstein's Flight," a loyal Death Guard captain flees the Istvaan system in hopes of warning the Emperor about Horus's betrayal.
Today, Black Library staff unveiled the new cover for this reissue.
This book by James Swallow brings fan-favorite Captain Nathaniel Garro to the forefront. His small contingent of 70 loyalist survivors requisitions an Imperial frigate, aiming to reach Terra before the traitors can inflict too much damage. Alas, their journey is fraught with peril, and the "Eisenstein" will have to contend with the raging currents of the Warp in a way no ship has before.
Bearing a cargo of critically important news, Garro appears as a grim figure. His melancholy is captured in the new cover art, which depicts the bridge of the "Eisenstein" and unimaginable destruction on the planet's surface.
This fourth installment of "The Horus Heresy: Saga" will also be released in a special edition — matching the previous books "Horus Rising," "False Gods," and "Galaxy in Flames." It will feature a faux leather cover with foil embossing and a metallic badge on the front.
"The Horus Heresy: Saga" is a curated collection of stories that charts a key route through the massive narrative of the Horus Heresy. It allows readers to cover all the most important moments of the series, including the Istvaan V massacre, the Shadow Crusade, and the War in the Webway.
The new edition of "Eisenstein's Flight" will be available for pre-order soon.
