The last project of the legendary Viktor Antonov: soulslike shooter Guns of Eschaton gets a new trailer with a release date

The game will be available on PC and consoles.

Publisher 4Divinity and developer Eschatology Entertainment have announced the release date for Guns of Eschaton — a mystical first-person shooter with soulslike elements, set in the Wild West during the apocalypse. The game will be available on December 8 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

The project's visual style was shaped under the guidance of Viktor Antonov, art director for Half-Life 2 and Dishonored. Together with an international team of developers, he created an original universe where the aesthetics of the 19th-century American frontier are combined with occult horrors, mythology, religion, and supernatural phenomena.

Guns of Eschaton is the last game created with the participation of Viktor Antonov. The legendary Bulgarian-born artist, art director, and designer of virtual worlds passed away on February 7, 2025, in Paris, at the age of 52. His death was publicly announced in mid-February: the information was confirmed by representatives of his studio Eschatology Entertainment, which he founded, and then by his family.
