God of War Creator Slams PlayStation Collector's Edition. This Would Not Have Been Allowed Before

David Jaffe criticized the quality of the figurine from the God of War: Laufey collector's edition, stating that there are no people left at PlayStation Studios willing to stand up for product quality.

God of War creator David Jaffe criticized PlayStation Studios for the quality of the God of War: Sons of Sparta collector's edition and the figurine from the God of War: Laufey set, stating that the company has lost its creative spirit.

Jaffe, who also worked on Twisted Metal, believes that there are no longer people in PlayStation studios willing to stand up against questionable decisions from management, marketing, and HR.

The developer was outraged by the release of the mediocre God of War: Sons of Sparta and the figurine from the God of War: Laufey collector's edition. His complaint is not about the absence of a game disc, but about the quality of the figurine itself.

In his opinion, the figurine symbolizes cultural changes at Sony and the absence of employees willing to stand up for product quality.
