Prime Video unveiled new posters for the third season of the series "The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power". They feature Gandalf the Grey, Galadriel with Celeborn, and the Balrog from the depths of Moria. Along with the release of the last poster, the streaming service announced that a full trailer for the continuation will be released on October 21.
The events of the third season will unfold several years after the second season finale, amidst the war between the elves and Sauron. After the fall of Eregion, the Dark Lord will strengthen his position in Mordor and attempt to gain a decisive advantage with the One Ring.
Morfydd Clark, Charlie Vickers, Robert Aramayo, Owain Arthur, and Daniel Weyman returned to their roles. Newcomers include Eddie Marsan, who played Thráin, Durin IV's older brother, Andrew Richardson as Anárion, Isildur's brother, and Simon Pegg, who voiced the Balrog.
The premiere of the third season of "The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power" will take place on November 11, 2026, on Prime Video. The series is also expected to receive fourth and fifth seasons. Work on the continuation was planned to begin this autumn, but there have been no official announcements about the start of production yet.
