An unofficial Android port of Hades II has been released, based on the macOS version of the game. The first public test build already supports touch controls and external gamepads, and shows decent performance even on less powerful devices. One Reddit user was pleased with how the game runs on a smartphone with Dimensity 8300 Ultra, while another reported 30-50 FPS on a budget Moto G75 with Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, so better results can be expected on more powerful devices.
However, not everyone is experiencing smooth gameplay yet: there are complaints about black screens and control issues. The developers continue to refine the port and are gradually fixing bugs. In update 1.1-beta, they addressed one of the virtual gamepad issues and added the ability to select third-party graphics drivers on Snapdragon devices.
To run the game, you will need your own files from the macOS version of Hades II, which can be purchased on Steam.
