A developer under the nickname codepdbh has released an experimental port of Need for Speed Carbon for Android, based on a re-compilation of the Xbox 360 version. For the graphics, they used the engine from the fan project NFSMW Android Evolved.
According to the author, the game runs at about 60 FPS at 1080p resolution on a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, although there are still brief stutters during races.
The port also received touch controls with the ability to change the layout of on-screen buttons and support for Bluetooth gamepads. In the settings, you can choose the resolution and frame rate limit, but the stability of operation at values above 60 FPS still needs to be tested.
To run the game, you will need Android 8.0 or newer, a 64-bit processor, and your own copy of the European version of Need for Speed Carbon for Xbox 360.
