ZA/UM studio announced that the spy RPG ZERO PARADES: For Dead Spies will be released on Xbox Series X|S on November 3 along with the expanded Director’s Cut edition. Initially, the game's release on Microsoft consoles was not planned. Simultaneously, the updated version will become available on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2, and PC users will receive it as a free update.

Director’s Cut will significantly expand the original game. Over 40 thousand words will be added to the plot, voice acting will be improved, some interface and inventory elements will be reworked, and new death screens will be added.

One of the main innovations will be the Backstage mode. In it, players will be able to collect in-game collectibles and listen to developer comments about the project's creation. In addition, it will be possible to get acquainted with various stages of game development.

The edition will also add a new dramatic scene in the Quisach Roundabout location, where the main character named Herschel will face a situation touching upon existential themes. Among other improvements, widescreen support is announced.
