According to insider Jeff Sneider, Jacob Elordi, known for “Euphoria” and Guillermo del Toro's “Frankenstein,” has been cast as the new James Bond. Sneider claims that auditions are complete, and an official announcement will be made “very soon.

Callum Turner (“Masters of the Air”), Harris Dickinson (“Triangle of Sadness”), and theater actor Tom Francis also vied for the role of Agent 007. Amazon has not yet commented on the rumor, but producer Amy Pascal previously suggested that the new Bond would be introduced by the end of 2026. Therefore, confirmation or denial of the information may appear in the near future.

The next James Bond film will be directed by Denis Villeneuve, director of “Dune,” from a screenplay by Steven Knight, creator of “Peaky Blinders.” David Heyman will produce the film alongside Pascal.
