Will the story of "Prometheus" and "Alien: Covenant" finally get a sequel? Ridley Scott found a screenwriter for a new film

Ridley Scott has reunited with the creator of "Raised by Wolves."

The continuation of the story of "Prometheus" and "Alien: Covenant," which Ridley Scott spoke about back in August, is gradually taking shape. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the script for the new film in the "Alien" universe will be written by Aaron Guzikowski, who has already worked with Scott on the series "Raised by Wolves," and is also known for Denis Villeneuve's "Prisoners." Scott himself will produce alongside Michael Pruss through Scott Free.

According to The Hollywood Reporter sources, the android David, played by Michael Fassbender, could be the link to the two prequels. This aligns with Scott's previous statements that David would be creating a "brave new world" for himself. Other plot details and release dates have not yet been revealed. The film does not yet have a director, and the script is still to be written.

Meanwhile, a sequel to "Alien: Romulus" remains in development. Earlier reports suggested that Fede Álvarez had declined to direct the sequel due to disagreements with Scott over David's future. However, this version has not been officially confirmed, and 20th Century Studios has already denied rumors of the film's cancellation.
