An enthusiast known as RedMemories has released The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Revived, an updated version of the 2014 mobile action game. The creator adapted the game for 64-bit Android devices, added widescreen display support, improved image clarity, and increased the frame rate from the original 30 to 60 FPS.
In addition, the game now launches with maximum graphics settings by default. Previously, even on modern smartphones capable of running The Amazing Spider-Man 2, it misidentified GPUs and automatically applied low settings. The developer also removed calls to Gameloft's shut-down services, meaning the game no longer requires an internet connection.
Otherwise, it is still the same The Amazing Spider-Man 2—an open-world action game inspired by the movie “The Amazing Spider-Man 2”, but telling its own story of the hero’s confrontation with Electro, Green Goblin, and other villains. Players can freely explore six districts of Manhattan, web-swing between skyscrapers, complete story missions, and stop crimes, combining acrobatics, dodges, and web attacks in combat.
Installing The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Revived requires Android 10 or newer, a 64-bit processor, and about 3 GB of free space.
