New promotional posters for “Dune: Part Three” have surfaced online, and the final trailer is promised to be released tomorrow, October 27. The materials are accompanied by the tagline “The Epic Finale,” and the posters themselves feature Paul Atreides, Chani, a Duncan Idaho clone, Alia Atreides, and Scytale.
The third film is based on Frank Herbert’s novel “Dune Messiah.” The events will unfold 17 years after the previous installment. Paul, having become Emperor Muad’Dib, will face the consequences of his reign and a conspiracy threatening his empire. Prophetic visions once again push the protagonist to seek a way out of the future he himself helped create.
The film is directed by Denis Villeneuve, who co-wrote the screenplay with Brian K. Vaughan. Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Florence Pugh, Rebecca Ferguson, Jason Momoa, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Javier Bardem have reprised their roles, while Robert Pattinson plays Scytale.
The international theatrical release will begin on December 16, and in the US and Canada, “Dune: Part Three” will be released on December 18, 2026, simultaneously with “Avengers: Doomsday.”
