According to Capcom’s official financial report, the company’s revenue for the first six months of the fiscal year increased by 49% compared to the same period last year. Operating profit grew by 54.5%, ordinary profit rose by 67.5%, and net profit gained 56.6%.
During the reporting period, sales in the digital content segment reached 85.141 billion yen, which is 70.8% higher than last year’s figure. Operating profit amounted to 52.308 billion yen, increasing by 66.7%.
In total, Capcom sold 36.86 million game copies in the first half of the year—significantly more than the 23.85 million copies sold in the same period of the previous fiscal year.
One of the company’s major successes was Pragmata. The project surpassed 1 million copies sold just two days after its release, and crossed the two-million mark slightly over two weeks later. By the end of the period under review, global sales of the game exceeded 2.7 million copies.
Another notable release was Onimusha: Way of the Sword—a new mainline entry in the Onimusha series, launched after a hiatus of roughly twenty years. Since its release on September 4, the game has sold more than 1.7 million copies.
Resident Evil. Resident Evil Requiem, released during the previous fiscal year, surpassed 8 million copies sold. At the same time, demand increased for earlier installments in the franchise, including Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 2.
Monster Hunter games received additional momentum following the announcement of the Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance expansion. Capcom also reported that Devil May Cry 5 surpassed 14 million copies sold. The game’s release on Nintendo Switch in the summer of 2026 contributed to the sales growth.
