Latest NVIDIA drivers may cause issues in Phantom Blade Zero, developers warn

The game has received a day-one patch with ray tracing improvements.

S-Game has prepared a day-one update of about 5 GB for Phantom Blade Zero. The patch will improve the performance of ray tracing and path tracing, as well as fix a number of bugs.

In addition to the update details, S-Game warned NVIDIA graphics card owners about potential performance issues when using the latest drivers. According to the studio's internal tests, driver version 621.01 shows unstable performance in certain situations.

The developers recommend that NVIDIA users install driver version 617.42, which currently provides the best compatibility with Phantom Blade Zero. Those who have already updated to a newer version are advised to perform a clean reinstall of the older driver. An alternative option is to wait for the next update from NVIDIA, which, according to the S-Game team, should be released shortly.
